TM Taman Desa Branch opened its doors to grace the upcoming crowd for the much anticipated Hari Raya Open House 2015 as Banners and canopies in their striking white and orange brought the shine to a slightly cloudy Saturday morning.
This is the time for TM to extend their gratitude to our Malaysian community for prioritizing TM's unlimited services ranging from Wi-fi for household and business, exciting promotions on Hypp TV for exciting new packages of TV programs and the phone lines that have kept our voices connected be it near or far.

The grounds of TM Taman Desa boosts the buzz of the busiest bees as every nooks and crannies are being cleaned. Table cloths are set even without the finest silver laid out; looks ever so grand from afar.Food and drinks are being prepped and I am positive that the waft of devilishly tantalizing satays being prepped on hot smoldering charcoals are drawing in the crowd in the designated radius; I could smell it from more than 100 meters away; making my bleak black coffee ever so enjoyable. There is also another surprise specially prepared for TM's guests' guilty pleasure.
TM have not left out their corporate responsibility to engage services of our beloved firefighters to be on the standby as live cooking is involved on site; hence the striking red fire engine parked majestically with the gallant firemen on guard. On the other hand, there is another striking red item was brought in for a much thought impact. A red inflatable playground bearing the insignia of cute Mickey and Minnie Mouse has been placed right next to the service counters; with notions that parents can let their kids have fun without being hurt as they indulge in the promotions and REWARDS offered by the ever generous Telekom Malaysia(TM). The plush red interior of the playground absorbs any risk of getting hurt with voluntary TM staffs on the watch.

Eager kids waste no time in officiating the inviting inflatable; wish I was 30 years younger when I was so much smaller.
The event kicked start at approximately 10 am with emcees Karen and Elmy singing their warm welcome to the guests. After a brief introduction on what are the surprises in store for the guests. So the mingle around time is allocated and all the staffs soldiered their positions. Why hold the fort when it is a much anticipated rest day for the staffs? There need not be any wild guesses here as the dedicated staffs stay true to their motto of delivering the best of their services even on a weekend. Hence all hands are out tending to rewards redemption, renewals, upgrades, queries and even bill payment!
As both emcees calls upon the crowd with quirky yet humorous greetings; like the piper of Hamelin, they managed to amass a strong crowd. Playing the pipe requires affinity to the proper notes. Both emcees have well conveyed the information on all rewards and services on this special day not only as emcees only but also as dedicated staffs of Telekom Malaysia. Emcee Elmy addresses in fluent Bahasa Malaysia and Emcee Karen did not hold back as she take the liberty to translate and converse in both English and Mandarin.
This event may seem like a hard sell event with booths and all, flyers billowing in the wind; but emcees reminded the crowd that they are still in the Syawal period and this is a period to share with everyone sincere gestures and laughters. With the note to that, the energetic emcees invited all the members of the public to tuck in to the spread laid out especially for them and I am thrilled to see all that took place within the feel free to help yourself period.

With everyone sharing the good times and indulging themselves with the hippiest rewards and promotion from TM, time has struck for the surprise to be unfolded as soon as a rigidity of an old van pulled up right behind the fire engine. Staffs move into position and with both emcees sounding the "GO!!!", it took a while for all the members of the public to catch a strong whiff of the most beloved fruit in Malaysia; DURIAN!!!!!!

The last and final surprise rolled in today in the form of a cacophony of colors from the brightest rainbow. It is no other no other than an appearance by MyFM. Two energetic and relatively new Deejays disembarked their eye catching vehicle and took the crowd under their wings for a series of fun filled moments of games and of course fun prizes from beauty products to exclusive movie tickets! Kudos to these young Deejays for keeping everyone entertained and thrilled to the very end and even posed before shining on their endless journey to spread the fun and love through music.

As the flashy rainbow of a car leaves TM Taman Desa's premise, the emcees stepped in to bid their utmost gratitude for the overwhelming support from the members of the public. This event has been made most successful as every staffs of TM Taman Desa and other participating branches have unloaded their dose of love and dedication not only to TM but their commitment to the general public. Apam balik and durians may have brought the public together but it is the LOVE that created the BOND. Thus this close knit unit of smiles is a result of utmost Tenacity, Creativity, Sincerity and Flair of TM (Telekom Malaysia). Mission accomplished as guests left not only lavishly treated but spent an entertaining weekend morning at TM Taman Desa!
